An unexpected pregnancy can cause major changes in your life. You may decide to terminate the pregnancy, parent your child, or consider adoption. If you choose the adoption route, there are many services available to help you during your pregnancy and for six weeks after placement.
Birth Parent Services
Our philosophy at Forever Families is that people placing their children for adoption deserve all the love and support that we can give them. Choosing to place a child is a difficult and selfless decision. We commend mothers (and fathers) who choose adoption for their unborn babies. Please contact us for a no-pressure discussion about the option of adoption if you have an unplanned pregnancy. If you choose to continue the pregnancy, we will help match you with an adoptive family who will provide financial support as allowed by law throughout your pregnancy and for six weeks after you place the baby. We will also provide you with pre and post placement counseling and case management. Case management services include transportation to medical and WIC appointments, and assistance with applications for Medicaid, WIC, and food stamps.
